How to change our update your bank account
If you need to update the bank account where your withdrawals are sent:
Navigate to your Whop Dashboard > Payouts section.
Click on Withdraw.
Click the Trash Can Icon next to the current bank account.
Add your new bank account details.
Please note that the country of your bank account must match the country you selected when you first created your Whop. If you want to switch the country of your business entity or bank account, you will need to make an entirely new organization on Whop and re-register
Payout Timing & Processing Delays
When are payouts available after a sale?
You can see your payouts on this page: https://whop.com/dashboard/payouts/
Sales show up as Pending Balance immediately.
Funds are available for withdrawal in 1–4 business days.
Once withdrawn, allow 2–5 business days to arrive in your bank (sometimes 7–10).
For ACH payments: Funds typically show up as Pending Balance immediately in your Whop account, and become available for withdrawal in 1–4 business days. Once you initiate a withdrawal, it takes an additional 2–5 business days to arrive in your bank account. Once withdrawn, allow 2–5 business days to arrive in your bank (sometimes 7–10).
Troubleshooting a failed payout
Go to the Payouts tab on your creator dashboard to view recent payouts
Click "Retry payout" next to the failed transaction
You can also click on the payout to see more information on payout timeline and why the payout may have failed. Failed payouts are rare, but when they do occur, common reasons include:
Your bank account is not in the local currency of the country where you registered your Whop
You entered your bank account information incorrectly
What if a payout says "Completed" but the money isn’t in my account?
This means the payout has been processed on Whop’s end.
Allow up to 3–5 business days (excluding weekends) for your bank to process it.
If it’s been longer, you can click on the payout to see the payouts timeline. In most cases, a Trace ID will be provided.
How do I track or trace a payout?
Contact your bank’s customer service.
Share the Trace ID, payout date, amount, and payor name (Whop).
Navigating Payout Settings
Where can I access my payouts?
This is where you will also see your balance and transaction history.
Can I change my payout country?
The payout country can’t be changed for existing organizations.
To switch countries, create a new Whop organization and sign up for a new Whop Payments under the new country with an associated bank account.
International payouts
If you are a creator with a business NOT based in the US, you need to set up a bank account that accepts your registered country’s currency.
If the bank account does not accept your registered country's local currency, your payouts from Whop Payments will not go through successfully
On Whop Payments, Whop is the Merchant of Record, and our system automatically converts all currencies to the currency of the geography you initially chose when you set up your Whop organization:
This means that, even if you accept payments in USD, Whop automatically converts the USD payments to your local currency before sending payouts
Payouts will NOT successfully go through to a USD-accepting bank account if the bank account is located in a country where USD is not the local currency
International currency conversion
When accepting international payments on a Whop Payments account, all funds are stored in USD
If you collect payments in a different currency (like EUR) and need payouts in another currency (like AED), there will be two conversions:
Initial conversion from collection currency to USD (platform storage)
Second conversion from USD to your payout currency
While there are two conversions, Whop only passes on a single 1% FX fee to creators, and we pay the cost of the second conversion.
This 1% FX fee applies globally, including UAE and all other countries. The conversion process happens automatically at time of payout
The conversion fees won't be visible on your dashboard but will be applied during the payout process.
Manual vs. Automatic Payouts
How do I switch to manual payouts?
Go to Dashboard > Payouts
Click Withdraw
Click Disable Automatic Payouts
What is the Whop payout schedule?
Payments payouts take 1–3 working days
Your bank may take 3–5 additional business days
You can set payouts to occur daily, weekly, monthly, or even on a specific weekday
Instant Payouts
You may also see an option for an “Instant Payout” on your dashboard, which transfers funds to your connected bank account within minutes instead of days.
You can instantly withdraw funds from the button on the top right of this page: https://whop.com/dashboard/payouts/.
If you do not see an option for instant payouts, it may be because your connected bank account does support instant deposits. To see the full list of banks that accept instant deposits, click this link.
Popular banks that do not accept instant payouts include, but are not limited to:
JPMorgan Chase Bank
Thread Bank
Peoples Trust Company
Bank of America
TD Bank
Bank of the West
HSBC USA
Affiliate & Referral Payouts
When are affiliate funds available?
There is a 30-day waiting period from when the referred customer made their purchase and when the referrer gets paid the affiliate cut
Why: this waiting period is to protect businesses on Whop from potential disputes and refunds.
If an affiliate withdrew their cut, and then the customer disputed their payment, the whop creator would be responsible for paying the negative account balance. Whop's 30-day waiting period protects against this loss.
How to withdraw affiliate earnings:
Click "Begin Setup" to start Stripe KYC process
Click "Withdraw to Bank"
Enter the amount you would like to payout and confirm withdrawal
Why was my referral income reversed?
If a referred customer gets a refund or initiates a dispute with their bank, the referral reward is also reversed.
PayPal payouts
Withdrawals must go to a linked bank account
To receive PayPal payouts, customers must buy using PayPal (no post-purchase transfer to PayPal)
Common payout statuses
Requested: A withdrawal has been initiated and is awaiting approval
Awaiting Payment / In Transit: Payment is processing (takes 1–5 business days)
Completed: Funds sent by Whop, awaiting bank processing
