How to setup payouts to your bank
Click on the dashboard icon
Click on the Payouts tab on the left sidebar
Click on Set up Whop Payments
Note - if you've already made a whop in the past and set up payments, you'll have the option to reuse that payments account and you will not have to go through the setup process again
Select your country
This country needs to match the country where your bank account is located, or your payouts won't go through!
Follow the on-screen instructions to verify your identity and link your bank.
You will be directed to a Stripe page -- Whop partners with Stripe to verify your and your business's identity
💡 Note: Based on the country you select during setup, you will receive the local currency of that country. For example, if you select the United States, you'll receive USD, and if you select the United Kingdom, you'll receive GBP when you withdraw to your bank account.
Payout requirements
There are a few requirements that you need to meet in order to withdraw the money collected in your Whop Payments balance.
Country requirements
While most countries are eligible to accept payouts, there are some countries where payouts are not possible.
Please see a list of all eligible countries here. If your country is not included on this list, this means that you will not be able to withdraw your whop balance to your bank.
Before earning money in your Whop Payments balance, please check to see if your country is eligible for payouts.
Bank account geography requirements
The bank account you connect must:
1) match the country where you registered your Whop; and
2) must accept the default currency of the country you registered
For example, if you are Canadian (your business is located in Canada), you must connect a Canadian bank account that accepts CAD. If you attempt to connect a bank account located in a country other than Canada, or connect a bank account that accepts a currency other than CAD, your payouts will not go through.
Age requirements
You must be 18 or older to withdraw money from Whop. This is a legal requirement for identity verification through Stripe's KYC process.
If you are under the age of 18, you may have a friend or family member who is 18 or older set up, run the account, and withdraw funds to a bank.
How to setup payouts to your PayPal
Whop also allows you to collect payments via PayPal right at checkout if you connect your PayPal account. To connect your PayPal account:
Click on the dashboard icon.
Click on Payouts under Finances
Click on Additional payment methods at the top of the screen
Select Setup next to the PayPal option.
Follow the on-screen instructions to link your PayPal.
If you want Paypal to appear at checkout, you need to manually check the Paypal box under Payment options when you create a checkout link.
PayPal integration is only available in select countries
PayPal payments do not capture billing/shipping addresses, thus these won't be available in payment exports.
Refunds must be processed exclusively through the Whop dashboard; they cannot be managed via the PayPal website by merchants.
Promo codes, waitlists, free trials, and accepting transfer links for renewals are currently not supported with PayPal payments.
How to setup payouts to your Coinbase crypto wallet
Click on the dashboard icon.
Click on Payouts under Finances
Switch to Additional payment methods.
Select Setup next to the Coinbase Commerce option.
Follow the on-screen instructions to link your Coinbase Commerce.
You will need to log into your Coinbase account and copy your API key and Webhook secret to paste into Whop
