What is the bounties app?
Bounties is an app created by the Whop team that allows creators to pay users for the completion of certain tasks. What can the tasks be? Pretty much anything you can imagine. Some common use cases include paying users to:
Shout out your whop on social media
Clip your social media content and post it online
Refer a friend to your whop
Give you feedback on your business
Here's how to add this app to your whop:
From your dashboard, select which whop you want to add the Bounties app into.
Once inside the hub view, select Manage apps.
Click New app, search for "Bounties" inside the search bar, and add the app to your whop.
To actually create & configure a bounty, do the following:
Click on the three dots next to the app in the sidebar view (appears as a gear icon if apps are spread across the top) and select App settings.
Under Details, you can change the app display name, logo (you can even upload custom logos), logo color, app description, and visibility status.
Under Configure is where you will create the actual bounty:
Select the purple "Create a Bounty" button.
You will see a popup where you can now either select from a preset or create your own custom bounty.
Enter your title, description, payment per task + currency, set payouts to be claimable multiple times by the same user, and attach files.
Click Publish.
Your bounty is now live! How it will work from here:
All users of this whop can now attempt to claim the bounty. They will be able to submit evidence for completion of the task (they can upload links, files, screenshot, etc.) and can track all their submissions autonomously.
You, as the creator, will be able to see all submissions from users across active and archived bounties.
You can either approve or deny each user submission. If you approve a submission, the payment for the task will automatically be withdrawn from your whop's Available Balance and be sent to the user's personal account balance. If you deny a submission, no payment is transferred and the user is notified of their failed submission!
