Configuring Discord App Settings
The Discord app comes with several settings that adjust you and your customer's experience of the app.
Event Log Channel: Send a webhook to a channel of your choice with updates about new purchases, renewals, and failed payments. Since these logs include sensitive customer information, it’s best to use a private channel rather than a public one.
Past Due Role Assignment: When a customer’s subscription goes past due, they are automatically given a “past due” role. Once payment is completed, this role is removed, and the customer regains the role tied to their active subscription.
Cancellation Actions: Choose what should happen when a customer cancels their subscription (e.g., remove roles, kick user, remove all roles, or no action).
If you are having issues with any of these settings, ensure the Whop Bot and Whop Bot role have permissions to see channels, update roles, and manage users.
