How to get access to a Discord server

Access a Discord server after purchasing a membership through Whop

In order to join a Discord server through Whop, you must first attach an existing Discord account to your Whop account. If you previously added your Discord account to Whop, refer directly to Joining a Discord Server.

Linking Your Existing Discord Account to Whop

Connecting your Discord account to Whop is essential for accessing certain functionalities, such as joining specific Discord servers tied to your Whop membership.

  1. Sign into your account on Whop.

  2. Visit Whop Connected Accounts settings to view and edit your account settings.

  3. Click on the ➕ icon or "Connect" next to Discord.

  4. You will be redirected to Discord in a new tab within your browser.

  5. On the Discord site, log into your Discord account.

  6. Once you are logged in, a form titled Whop Bot should appear. Scroll down on this form and click Authorize at the bottom. You will now be redirected back to Whop. For mobile device users:

  7. Open your mobile browser and go to the same Connected Accounts page.

  8. Click on “Add Account” and follow the same steps to log into Discord and authorize Whop.

Joining a Discord Server

If your Whop membership provides access to a specific Discord server, navigate to Whop’s applicable page after linking your account, select the server, and click Claim Access.

  1. Visit the Whop page with the Discord you intend to access.

  2. Click on the Discord app in the Whop.

  3. Select your Discord account and click Claim Access.

  4. You will be redirected to the Discord site and should now have access to the Discord community.
