Pricing/checkout links are direct links you can send to users so they can purchase your whop.

There are two ways to create pricing links:

Method 1 - From the dashboard:

  1. Head to your dashboard.

  2. Click the Pricing tab on the left sidebar

  3. Click the blue + Create button

  4. Follow the steps on the screen

    1. Choose for what whop (product/offer) you want to make the price

    2. Choose the pricing type

    3. Set your subscription price (and for recurring payments, how often your user will pay that price) - make sure to change your currency if you will not be accepting USD

  5. Make sure to expand Advanced options and select the specific Payment methods you want to be offered to your customers on the pricing link

    1. For example, if you are qualified for financing options, you can choose to have one certain pricing links offer financing options at checkout

Method 2 - From inside a whop

  1. Head to your dashboard.

  2. Click Your whops

  3. Select for which whop (offer) you want to set up a pricing link

  4. Once inside the whop, click the three dots (...) at the top of the page and select Manage pricing

  5. Click the blue + Create pricing option button

  6. Configure your pricing link - set pricing type, subscription prices and periods, if you want to add an initial upfront deposit/fee

  7. Make sure to expand the Advanced options to customize features on your pricing link and toggle which specific Payment methods you want available to your customers on the link

Once you've created the link through either method, it will automatically be copied to your clipboard. It will also now show up both in the Manage pricing section as well as your Pricing links dashboard screen, where you can quickly copy links by clicking the three dots next to an existing link and selecting 'Copy checkout link'.

FAQs

  • Q: What is the difference between archiving and hiding a pricing option

    • When you create a pricing link, you can make that price visible or hidden. The default option is Visible on store page, which means that everyone can see and use the pricing option.

    • The second option is Only accessible via link, which means only users with special pricing option links will be able to obtain it.

    • When you hide a pricing option, this means that the price simply is not visible on your store page, but you can still send that link out and users can check out with it.

    • Instead, archiving means that the price is no longer active and no one can check out on that link.

    • Anyone already on that pricing link will stay active on that pricing plan, but no new customers can check out on that price. You can always un-archive an archived pricing link if needed.

  • Q: How can I make checkout links in amounts greater than $2.5k?

    • To make checkout links in amounts greater than $2.5k, apply by answering a few questions on this form.

    • We just need to understand what you're selling for that amount and how high you need your checkout links to go - review and approval will happen within 24 hours of submitting the form, and eligibility is based on transaction history in the past 90 days. If you haven't been selling on Whop for 90 days, you will be able to upload processing statements from your previous payment processor.

  • Q: How does split pay work?

    • Split pay is an option you can enable on Subscription pricing links. This essentially allows a user to make a set number of payments for your whop over a specific schedule rather than a recurring subscription or a one-time payment.

    • After the user makes the specified number of payments, they will have access to the whop until they either cancel or their membership is terminated.

    • Keep in mind that split pay is different from financing!

      • Whereas with split pay you collect the customer's payments over time, with financed payments, you will receive the full amount of the purchase upfront (and the customer will pay back the financing company over time).

  • Q: Can I offer financing options on a checkout link?

    • Financing options (AfterPay, Splitit, Sezzle, Klarna, and Zip Pay) will automatically appear on checkout links where eligible

    • To be eligible for financing, please go to the Checkout links tab of your dashboard, click + Create checkout link, expand the Payment Options dropdown, and click the Apply for financing --> button at the bottom.

  • Q: How can I enable wire/ACH payments?

    • An option to 'Allow ACH payments' will show up during the configuration flow of a Single payment link. Toggle it on to accept ACH on that particular link.
