When you sign up for Whop, you will use Whop Payments by default. With Whop Payments, Whop will serve as the MoR (Merchant of Record). This significantly reduces the burden so that you can focus on building your whop.

As MoR, Whop is located in the US. If your customer is located in the US, they will pay domestic card processing fees, and if they are located outside of the US, they will pay international card processing fees.

When you sign up for Whop Payments, payment processing fees + a 3% Whop fee will be included. This 3% take rate is our fee for using our platform. The payment processor fees are charged by processors to accept payments.
